GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Step – Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is the heart of Step – a full body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs
BodyPump – Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BodyPump gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories per class.
Cycle – A great cardio workout using our specific group training bikes. This class delivers maximum cardio results with minimum impact on your joints. (Ride Strong includes resistance training)
FIT Barre – Ballet inspired classes that mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and functional training using light weights, balls, and bands. Look like a long lean ballerina!
Booty Ballet – A fun lower body sculpting class designed to give your abs and booty a long, lean body look.
Core Fusion – Sculpt your midsection as you improve your body’s overall functional strength, balance, and coordination
Body Shred –This class is a 3-2-1 circuit training approach that involves 3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs.
Body Chisel – Interval training at its best!!! Different workouts every week including strength training, cardio training, and stretching.
Zumba – A mix of low and high intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
Boxing– Get rid of stress while punching on a bag. You’ll feel strong and energized after this 1,000 calorie burning class.
Yoga – A class designed to increase flexibility and relaxation using safe postures and stretches.
BootCamp – Come rain, shine, snow whatever. Our bootcamp classes are all inside. Full body workout with exercises that will help improve your cardio endurance and strength.
Silver Sneakers – Designed for older adults, 65 and older, and paid for by certain participating heath plans. Each class uses small dumbbells, resistance bands, and balls to give a full body safe and effective workout.
